Gaurav Patel, Ahmedabad: As the whole of Gujarat is going through a lockout situation, Ashwani Kumar, Secretary to the Chief Minister, has made big announcements about the necessities of life for the people in the state today. He said that under the celebrated scheme in the state, women would be given free gas cylinders for three months.
Ashwini Kumar said that efforts are being made to identify more and more patients in Gujarat. Under Kisan Yojana, the first installment of Rs 2000 has been paid to 47 lakh 81 thousand farmers in the state. Food grains will be distributed to the poor at a cost of Rs 1,182 crore.

Around three lakh people who came to Gujarat for daily roti were given ration under Annabrahm Yojana. The government is spending Rs 6,280 crore on the Corona epidemic.
