Caution: After 15 days, PAN card will expire, you will have to pay a fine of Rs 10,000
If you have a PAN card, be prepared to pay a fine of Rs 10,000. If you have not linked the PAN card to the Aadhaar card before June 30,new there will be a penalty. The last date to link PAN card to Aadhaar card is 30 June. A notification in best this regard has been issued under Section 272B of the Income Tax Act of the Income Tax Department.
The first deadline was 31 March
Earlier, the last date for linking Aadhaar card to PAN card was 31 March 2020. But Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaramal has extended the deadline to June 30 due to the lockdown caused by the corona virus epidemic. Apart from this, Aadhar card is also necessary for making PAN card.
