how it works
Messages on your device are encrypted so that the WAMR cannot directly access them.
The only solution available is to read them from the information you receive and create a message backup based on your information history.
When WAMR detects that a message has been deleted, it will immediately show you a notification!
Media message
WAMR will try to save any media associated with the message and if the sender deletes it, you will receive a notification.
The following media types can be retrieved: images, videos, animated gifs, audio, voice notes, documents, stickers.
The boundaries
Please keep in mind that this official and supported way to recover deleted messages does not exist. This is a workaround and may face limitations due to the selected messaging app or even Android OS:

1) Text messages are retrieved by your notifications, so, if you put a chat on silence, or if you are currently viewing a message on the messaging app before it is deleted, you will not receive a notification so that WAMR could not save it! This also obviously means that it is impossible to retrieve notifications / messages before downloading this app (so download it quickly!).
2) If the messages are not being saved, it may be due to killing Android WAMR. Please remove WAMR from all battery optimization services!
3) WAMR cannot save files if they are not fully downloaded! So if you are offline or you have an unstable connection, or in general if the sender deletes the message before downloading it, the WAMR cannot do anything to protect it.
4) If you are not using a WiFi connection, some media may not be automatically downloaded by your messaging app due to your settings. You can change this behavior in the Messaging app> Settings>
