Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana Gujarat Apply Online
The Rupani government is committed to make the women power of Gujarat self-reliant and self-reliant. More than 10 lakh mothers and sisters in the state will be given loans at 0% interest to start their own small business, home industry, business.
A total of 10 lakh mothers and sisters of 1 lakh women groups will get the benefit of Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana.
This scheme will include 50,000 women from rural areas and the same number of women from urban areas. This scheme will be implemented in rural areas by Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company which works under the Rural Development Department of the Government of Gujarat. In urban areas, the same scheme will be implemented by Gujarat Urban Livelihood Mission which works under the Urban Development Department of the State Government.
The main features of the this scheme are as follows
(1) If each group pays regular installments under this scheme, then Rs. 1 lakh plus interest is to be given by the government.
(2) 60,000 JLESGs in rural areas and 50,000 in urban areas will be covered under this scheme. In which the amount of interest will be paid by the government to the lending institutions on behalf of the women group.
(3) Nationalized banks, rural banks, cooperative banks, private banks, cooperative societies and RBI other recognized lending institutions - MFIs will also be promoted by the government for the successful implementation of this scheme. (Subject to change)
