PM Ujjwala Yojana 2022: Ahead of the assembly elections in Gujarat, the state government under the leadership of Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojana has made a big announcement. By availing the Ujjwala Yojana, 38 lakh people in the state will now be provided with 2 gas cylinders per year for free. This subsidy will be deposited directly into the bank account of the beneficiaries. Apart from this, the government has also reduced VAT on CNG and PNG by 10%, so there will be an increase in CNG gas price by Rs 6-8 and PNG price by Rs 5-6.

This program is for women, the main objective of this program is to make women use clean and safe fuel instead of using hazardous fuel. Any woman above the age of 18 can avail this scheme.
