Gujarat Vahli Dikri Yojana
Like other state government schemes like Haryana (Ladli Scheme), Karnataka (Bhagyashree Scheme), Rajasthan (Raj Shree Yojana Scheme), Maharashtra (Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree Scheme), Madhya Pradesh (Ladli Laxmi Yojana Scheme) and West Bengal (Scheme Kanya Prakalpa), the state government of Gujarat also announced the Vahli Dikri Yojana. Under this program, the government will provide financial assistance to the girl. Beneficiaries will receive this assistance in three phases. For the successful implementation of the scheme in the state, the government has imposed a sanction of Rs 133 crore in the state budget for the scheme.

This program is fully funded by the government
The government will give Rs. 110,000/- to the beneficiaries

Distribution of scholarship amount
Beneficiaries will get Rs. 4000/- on first enrollment in 1st class
The second enrollment will be done in class 9 and the amount will be Rs. 6000/-
Beneficiaries will get Rs. 100,000/- when he attains the age of 18 years.

This scheme is intended for the first two girls in the family
Applicant must belong to Gujarat state
Applicant must have a bank account
The annual income of the applicant's family should not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs
