NTSE Exam 2021 - National Talent Search Examination The NTSE or National Talent Search new Examination is a national level test conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) by giving students the best students in the 10th grade. The NTSE is held only for level 10 students and the examinations are conducted in two different phases - Phases I and II.




The first phase test is a state level test and is conducted by all the provinces of India and the UT. The NTSE II phase, on the other hand, is designed for those students who clear the first phase. As mentioned earlier, only those who new qualify for the Phase 1 of the NTSE will be able to write the Phase II exam. These are the main conditions. In the meantime, the purpose of the NTSE program is to provide bursaries to aspirants who wish to pursue higher education in the field of Science or Social Study. With these bursaries, students will be able to continue their education in the broadcasting of their dreams. The NTSE bursary will be awarded on the basis of full student performance in both assessment phases.

Details of the NTSE Scholarship

In Class XI to Class XII, a bursary of Rs.1250 / - per month is awarded. Annually 15000 Rs.

For Undergraduates and Postgraduates students, a bursary of Rs. 2000 / - per month. Annually 24000 Rs.

In Ph.D., the amount of bursaries is adjusted according to UGC practices.


Terms of eligibility for NTSE exam: 2021

NCERT has defined the age limit for students to appear for exams. Applicants must be under 18 years of age (July 1, 2021).


NTSE Qualifications for Phase 1 (National level assessment)

Due to the status of COVID in the country, no specific date has been given for registration and exam date but students who are doing their studies in Indian schools are eligible to appear for the first exam.


Qualifications are as follows:

The nominee must be a Class X student at any public / private school in India.

There is no home limit. Nominees may come from any State / Union Territory of India.

Applicants for open or graduate courses are also eligible to enroll NTSE 2020, provided that they are under the age of 18, unemployed and appear on the Class X board examination for the first time.


NTSE Qualifications for Phase 2 (National level assessment)

Only students who qualify for the Phase 1 examination (state level examination) who are eligible to appear for the Phase 2 examination.


NTSE eligibility for students studying abroad

Indian students studying abroad in Class X or its equivalent have the right to write a grade 2 (second level examination) directly and are exempt from the Grade 1 examination.

The candidate must score 60% in last year's exam.

The nominee must appear for an examination at an Indian institution.

Nominees must apply to the Head of the Center where he or she is studying, as well as a certified copy of the Class IX page. The application must reach the Head, Department of Education Examinations, NCERT, New Delhi by 31 December of the year concerned.

The nominee will receive a bursary only if he or she decides to continue his or her studies in India.
