Special guidelines announced by the Ministry of Health for Std. 9-12, schools can be started voluntarily


The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday announced SOP to partially reopen schools on voluntary basis for students studying in Std 9 to 12, seeking teacher guidance.

All states and union territories are advised to follow the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Common protective measures:
Keep at least 6 feet as far as possible
Mandatory to wear face mask
Wash hands with soap for at least 40 to 60 seconds, even if the hands are not dirty. Use a lacquer-based hand sanitizer (at least 20 seconds) as far as possible.

Strict adherence to respiratory etiquette. Such as using a handkerchief or tissue paper when sniffing or sneezing, or sneezing or coughing at the elbow with one hand, and disposing of tissue paper properly after sneezing or coughing.
Health inspection of all and giving advance notice if any disease is found
Spitting ban
