Circular issued by Gujarat Primary Education Department, now will be the time for all schools in the state


The spread of deadly corona virus has increased in the state. The government is also preparing to take an in-house learning-based assessment test for the first semester of this year because classroom education is not available in state schools due to Corona and exams can be taken online in the first semester this year. In addition, the schools will run full time as per the routine from 1 July tomorrow.

Also ready to take home based assessment test for first academic session

According to a circular issued by the Office of the Director of Primary Education for all DPOs and Corporation School Management Boards of the state, the schools have been ordered to remain full-time from tomorrow, July 1. As of June 30, schools were running separately in the morning hours in each district.

As of June 30, schools in each district run at different times in the morning

The way government schools run from 1:30 am to 12 noon every year from July 1, similarly schools will now run full time from July 1 and now have to run this way till July 31. According to the government's instructions, preparations are being taken to take an assessment test based on how much has been studied for children in Std. 3 to 8 depending on home learning and how much the child has studied.

Teachers should be present in schools and carry out home learning activities as per the instructions of GCERT
The government has also instructed all the DPOs to ensure the presence of teachers in government schools and the headmaster must compulsorily compulsory teachers. In addition, children living in the surrounding areas should visit to assist and guide them to learn at home.
