 Gram Panchayat Election News | Gujarat Home Elections 2021 | Gujarat Provincial Electoral Commission (SEC)


To further its ongoing efforts to build an active democratic citizen in the country, the Indian Electoral Commission has taken a new step by designing a Mobile Application to promote a culture of active electoral consultation and informed and ethical voting decisions among the country's citizens. The app aims to provide a single point of service and information delivery to voters across the country. The application provides the following services to Indian voters:


A. Election Search (#GoVerify name in the list)


B. Submission of new Voter Registration Forms, which are exchanged

Election of India is an Android app that provides the latest election results and updates. Contains the result and information related to Vidhan Sabha, Lok Sabha, Municipal Elections, Panchayati Raj elections.


Wise Political Party Winner: This section will provide details on the results of smart political party seats obtained in elections.


Nominee Lists: This section will provide a list of candidates and the total number of votes held by them.

Gram Panchayat Election News: Gujarat Local Election 2021

Speaking to the media on Monday, Sanjay Prasad, the SEC commissioner, said, "Election notices will be issued on November 29 for every election and the deadline for nominations is December 4. Review of nominations will be held on December 6 and deadline for withdrawal of application forms will be December 7. Voting will be held on December 19 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. ”



The commissioner further said that the entire voting process will be announced on December 24. If necessary, a re-run will be held on December 20. The commissioner also announced the phase voting dates and by-elections for some gram panchayats.


Voting in the national election will be in 10,117 constituencies covering 88,211 wards. The by-elections will be for 65 villages and the wards will be 923 wards in 697 districts, ”added Prasad.


"Elections will be held by vote as the required number of Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) is insufficient," added Prasad.


Panchayat elections will be held at all 27,085 polling stations and 54,387 ballot boxes will be required. There are 2,06,53,374 registered voters among whom 1,06,46,524 are male and 1,00,06,850 are female.
