Application Process
The Disability Pension Scheme has been launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the year 2016. An application form can be obtained from the District Disability Welfare Officer office to receive benefits.
You can also register online for the Disability Pension Scheme through its official website SSPY-up.gov.in. So if you are submitting a hardcopy, go to your nearest panchayat office and submit the form. Pension will be sent directly to the beneficiary's account

Scheme Conditions
Disabled person should be a citizen of UP. It will require residence certificate and other ID proof.
The monthly income of the applicant should be Rs 1000 or less. If he lives with his wife, then the monthly income should not exceed Rs 1500.
Applicant's disability must be 40 percent or more.
A person receiving widow pension or any other pension will not be able to avail this scheme.
If a person with a disability owns three wheels or four wheels or any vehicle, it will not be considered eligible for this pension.
If a physically challenged person is working in any government sector then he will not be eligible.
