PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana - The government has launched a mobile app intending to spread the advantages of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme to more and more farmers. With the help of the new mobile app, farmers will now connect to the schemes through their smartphone.

Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar introduced this app to mark the first anniversary of PM-Kisan scheme. The schemes started on 24 February 2019 which is running in all the states except West Bengal.

Know the status of payment

Also, the minister said that with the help of the mobile app, farmers could know the status of the payment. Can improve the name according to Aadhaar. You can see the status of registration. The mobile app also provides a helpline number and facility for self-registration. Apart from this, all the information related to this scheme will be available here.

Here, list of required farmers documents for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

  • Aadharcard 
  • Bank Account Details

Who is Eligible for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

These schemes started last year on February 24, whose benefits applied to small and marginal farmers with a landholding up to 2 hectares.

8.45 Crore Farmers Received Amount

So far, 9.74 crore farmers have associated with PM-Kisan. The government has set a goal of connecting 14 crore farmers with these scheme. So far, 8.45 crore farmers have paid after matching the state government figures, according to agency reports. 

What is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?

Under the scheme, small and marginal farmers a given three instalments of Rs 2-2 thousand a year (Rs 6000). Eligible beneficiaries of the scheme can also register themselves through the Common Service Center (CSC). Apart from this, registering the farmers only the local Patwari, Revenue Officer and Nodal Officer nominated by the State Government for the scheme.
