PM launches speech scheme, launches scheme to provide Wi-Fi to every village
The central government on Wednesday announced three major plans to boost the economy. It has two announcements related to the digital economy. One of these is the public new Wi-Fi network access new scheme 'PM Vani'. It aims to expand the Wi-Fi network in every village.
Another new plan is to provide 4G network in Arunachal Pradesh and fiber cable in Lakshadweep. At the same time self-reliance scheme has also been approved. Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, new Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar and Labor Minister Santosh Gangwar gave information at the press conference.
Public wi-fi plan
Announcing the scheme, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that a public data office, public data aggregator and app provider would be set up under it. The app provider will receive registration within seven days. License is also not required for this.
Under this, the government will open a Public Data Office (PDO), without the need for any form of license. Any existing new store will be converted into a data office. The government will allow data centers, data aggregators, app systems to open centers in 7 days.
Wi-Fi will be available as soon as you download the new app
The Union Minister said that there is a huge potential for digital education in the internal sector. For this, one has to download the app once. After this one can take wifi from any public data office. The advantage will be that new people will use high-speed internet. New business will start. Children in villages will be able to download books from the Internet. Will be able to get education with the help of Wi-Fi. Its usage rate will also be decided. The government will not interfere. How much this feature will cost will be left for the market.
Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the islands of Lakshadweep will also be connected with fiber connectivity. Connectivity from Cochin to 11 islands of Lakshadweep will reach in 1000 days.
Approval of Self-Employed India Employment Scheme
Union Minister Santosh Gangwar said that a self-sufficient India employment scheme will be implemented in the country. Under this, an investment of Rs 22,000 crore will be made by the year 2020-23. About 58.50 lakh employees will be benefitted under this scheme. From March 2020 to next year, the government will contribute to the EPF of those who have joined jobs. The government will provide 24 percent EPF new contribution to a company with less than 1000 employees.

Special thing about the plan
This scheme will cover employees whose monthly salary is less than Rs 15,000.
Under this scheme, the government will provide 24 percent EPF to the employees working from October 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021.
Organizations with 1000 or less employees will be covered under the scheme.
The government will contribute 12 percent to organizations with more than 1,000 employees.
In addition, re-employment to those who lost jobs during Corona is being considered.
If an new organization with 50 employees hires 2 new people, it will benefit.
An organization with more than 50 new employees will have to employ 5 people, which will benefit the scheme.
According to Santosh Gangwar, when the Modi government came to power, there were 6 crore jobs in the organized sectors, now the employment in this sector has increased to 100 million. In addition, the Union Cabinet has approved the USOF new scheme in two districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam. Asked about the farmers' agitation and agricultural laws, he said that the government is seeking redress through dialogue with farmers.
