Where will farmers benefit?
Farmers in the affected areas will benefit from this assistance package in view of the situation caused by heavy rains in the regions of Jamnagar, Rajkot, Junagadh and Porbandar in September 2021.
How much help per hectare?
Farmers in such affected areas whose crops have lost 3 percent (thirty-three) or more will be given 2 hectares (2) per hectare. 15,000 assistance will be paid.
This service is limited to a maximum of 2 (two) hectares as an irrigated crop from the SDRF provision in accordance with the SDRF standards. 2,500 will be provided.
The remaining difference is Rs. 2,500 will be allocated to the state budget within a maximum of 2 (two) hectares.
