SBI reduced FD rate

The country's largest state-run State Bank of India  (SBI) has also cut interest rates on fixed deposits (FD). The new SBI rate will be applicable from 12 May 2020 on fixed deposits of less than Rs 2 crore. SBI has reduced the interest rates on FDs to 0.20 percent from 3 years. The country's largest bank said in a statement,  We are  reducing the retail you term deposit rate over a period of 3 years, given the bank's arrangement and the liquidity of the bank  SBI FD rates which will be new applicable to general public from 12th May. Under this rule, 3.3 percent on 7-45 day FDs, 4.3 percent on 46-179 day FDs, 4.8 percent on 180 to 210 day FDs, 4.8 percent for 211 to 1 year, 5.5 percent for 1 to 2 years. , 5.5 per cent for 2 to 3 years and 5.7 per cent for FDs up to 5 years.
