In the midst of rising inflation across the country, state-owned oil companies have also given relief in the case of LPG in December. Domestic LPG cylinder rates remained unchanged on 1 December 2020 as well. Earlier in October and November, PCL, BPCL, IOC did not change the price of LPG cylinder. However, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder increased by Rs 55.

This is the last time the price of 14 kg LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 4 in July 2020. In June this year, the price of 14.2 kg non-subsidized LPG cylinder in Delhi has increased by Rs 11.50. Whereas in May it was cheaper by Rs 162.50.

According to the website of the country's largest oil marketing company IOC, cylinder prices in Delhi have remained stable. If we talk about Delhi, currently a subsidized gas cylinder of 14.2 kg is available for Rs 59.2. If you look at the new price of subsidized cylinder in Mumbai, you will find that you will have to pay Rs 594 there too. But in Chennai it is priced at Rs 610 per cylinder and in Kolkata for 14.2 kg you will have to pay Rs 620 for this cylinder.


Commercial cylinder prices go up

The price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has been fixed for the month of December. Chennai has the highest new increase of Rs 56 per cylinder. Here you have to pay 1410 rupees for commercial cylinder. Apart from this, the capital of the country has increased by Rs 55. The new rate of this cylinder here is Rs 1296. Kolkata and Mumbai are also seeing an increase of Rs 55. After which the new prices in these two cities are Rs 1351 and Rs 1244 respectively.
