Giving information about the current situation of Corona, CM Secretary Ashwani Kumar said, the state government has provided free food grains to one lakh families in the month of April. Subsequently, under the Government of India's Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, NFSA families were given 3 kg of wheat and 1.5 kg of rice per person from 25 to 30 April. Similarly, free food grains will also be distributed in May.
Giving information about the distribution of food grains, Ashwini Kumar said that wheat, rice, pulses, sugar and salt will also be distributed free of cost in May with the NFSA card. Will be provided with Full distribution of food grains will have to be completed between 17 to 27 May, for which food grains will be distributed according to the previous arrangement according to the final data of the ration card. This system of distribution of food grains will not apply in Ahmedabad for special reasons. Therefore a separate date has been set for APL-1 card holders in Ahmedabad. Accordingly, free food grains will be distributed in Ahmedabad from 18 to 23 May.
